Mary Poppins!

Bailey: In Mary Poppins, the song 'Spoonful of Sugar' was gonna be called 'Man up and grow a spine'.

Bailey's dad: What is this soup thickened with, flour?
Bailey: Bear Grylls thickens his soup with glass.

Plaster and Pain

Bailey: (Singing)
Did you make yourself out of
A plaster cast of me?

I doubt it, I doubt it,
it seems pretty unlikely.

Alex: You're hurting me emotionally.
Bailey: Yeah well you're hurting me physically, mine's worse

Eels, Jesus and Meercats

Alex: Now, what shall I wear today?
Bailey: You could just wear some eel skins!

(Watching a man on a paddleboard, a kind of surfboard you stand on and punt yourself along like a gondolier)
Bailey: Look, it's Jesus!
(Paddleboarder falls in)
Bailey: Jesus's spell has been broken.

Alex: Shall we see the meercats?
Bailey: Beercats?
Alex: Meercats.
Bailey: Beercats! Cats that drink beer! They're drunk cats.

Proms, Faces and Polar Bears

(While listening to the proms)
Bailey: I have nightmares about something like this.

(Just sitting in the car)
Bailey: Some people like their faces... Roasted!

(This particular quote has a story. One day in class we were watching a documentary about polar bears. The presenter was going on about the adaptations a polar bear has, and said 'Is there anything the polar bear can't do?' To which someone in my class replied 'Eat their own head.' When I told this to Bailey, this is what he said:)

Bailey: Oh look, I'm eating my own head, I'm a polar bear! Polar bears can eat their own head, did you know that, I don't think you did. Did you? No, you didn't. I know because I've been inside your brain.
